Awhile back I started watching the Netflix series House of Cards. Little did I know that many aspects of that show would surface in our current political environment.
If you haven’t watch the show let me get you up to speed. Frank Underwood played by Kevin Spacey (We know what happened with that guy) is a power hungry Senator from South Carolina with ambitions to one day be the leader of the free world. The series takes you through twists and turns of the everyday activities and scheming of an elected official to get to the top.
I feel like Kamala Harris is the Frank Underwood of today’s political environment. Here is a woman with a very thin resume who used her feminine charms to work her way to the second most powerful position in the world.
Many Americans like myself wonder how that happened. Harris was an absolute disaster in the Democrat primary. Everyone who was paying attention remembers the back and forth between Tulsi Gabbard and Harris. It was a brutal takedown on a visceral level that few had seen in the past. The problem with it all is that it was so easy to do. I don’t think Tulsi sat around and said if I just say this that it will be easy for me to show the public who Harris truly is. As you just read Harris was a horrible Prosecutor. The Black community hates her because of the severity of her policies and the legal way she went after that certain segment of society. She now plays off the appropriation of that culture to gain access to power and position. Harris showed up this weekend in Philadelphia to a crowd of less than 100. The enthusiasm has failed to follow the Democrat party from Joe to Kamala. The Left believes if they use the media and tell you enough times that their views and policies are good for you that magically you’ll just ignore the fact that you are worst off under said policies.
This election is going to become a backdoor (ding) dealing, illegal extortion, blackmail fiasco that could leave Kamala Harris in the dust. Maybe yet, will Kamala even be the candidate by the end of August?
Only time will tell.
