KENNY CODY: With RINOs like Lankford and Tillis, who needs enemies?

For the entirety of the political career of Donald Trump, who has become the 45th and 47th President of the United States, the left has hated him. From his concentration on immigration policy, dominating personality that controls a room, and his hatred for all things that Marxists admire, Trump has been despised since the moment he launched his first campaign in 2015, while going down the golden escalator. However, his supporters knew that these enemies were the devil we knew already, and they would forever be the opposition, no matter what Trump or his movement did.

What many did not anticipate, however, were the many challenges that the establishment of the Republican Party would give him during his three campaigns and two terms as the President of the United States. From cocaine Mitch to low-energy Jeb, Trump has handled them all without any real issue when it comes to public perception. Despite these challenges, President Trump and his movement stand firm, inspiring us all with their resilience in the face of adversity. That does not mean the deep state has not come after him in the form of RINOs.

One of the best examples of that neoconservative barrier built around the Trump agenda is Republican North Carolina U.S. Senator Thom Tillis. The administration dropped Trump’s nominee for the United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, Ed Martin, due to GOP opposition in the U.S. Senate.

Martin’s process was a massive concentration as one of the last nominations yet to be confirmed for the Trump Administration’s cabinet, and many were wondering why it was taking so long. Now, we know Tillis’s opposition effectively killed his nomination. Unfortunately, the reason behind the withdrawal is due to neoconservatives such as Senator Tillis, who outwardly stated that he will not be voting for Martin due to his connection to some January 6ers. Senator Tillis continued to believe that January 6th was one of the worst things to happen in American history and held that lie against Martin.

In reality, Tillis opted to believe that proclamation over the will of American voters, who elected Trump to a second term due to his promising to shake up the status quo, is erroneous at best, and corrupt establishment politics winning him over at worst. For someone up for re-election in 2026, Tillis needed to get MAGA on his side due to the threat of a primary, but he has not done so to quell the movement during the last few months. He needs a primary opponent fast.

Another problem that lies with a consistent thorn on Trump and MAGA’s side is Republican Oklahoma U.S. Senator James Lankford. The same neoconservative who pushed to pass amnesty immigration reform that would prioritize illegal immigrants over United States citizens during the Joe Biden presidency is now opposing mass deportation efforts by the Trump Administration, creating yet another hurdle for the White House after they have already been dealing with lawfare from activist judges across the nation.

The very fact that a Republican United States Senator believes that illegal aliens deserve any due process is incredibly baffling. The United States has dealt with drug overdosing resulting through pouring over the Southern border, a President over the past four years that allowed an open border, aliens that have raped and killed our citizens, and now we have a RINO telling us that these same people deserve a proper process before they are deported for breaking the law by being here illegally.

With neoconservative slugs like Senators Lankford and Tillis, it’s surprising that they are still in office or that the Trump Administration has not had more problems from their ilk before now. When it comes down to it, Democrats will always support Democratic leaders against Republicans. For some reason during the Trump-era of politics, however, Republicans will not side with their own nor their leader when the policies and figureheads that the American people voted Trump in to implement are up for a vote. We all share the same values and goals, and it’s time we stand together to achieve them.

MAGA needs to act now to hold these puppets of the establishment accountable. They are no different from the cultural Marxists who have intentionally destroyed our country. By standing aside and letting the establishment win, RINOs like Lankford and Tillis are just as much of a burden to this country as the Democrats they claim to oppose. The time for action is now.
